My new Nike Flyknit Lunar 3’s are some pretty fly shoes! (What can I say? I like puns!) I’ve had these for a couple of months now, and aside from looking great, they’re quite functional. They have a unique combination of stable, supportive soles plus a soft fit around the top. Usually, running shoes that give me the supportive sole I desire, are too stiff and uncomfortable for me on the top, and the flexible, stretchy shoes aren’t supportive on the bottom. The Flyknit Lunar 3’s, however, maintain the balance I’ve searched long and hard for. Not only have I ran in them, I’ve trained with them in boxing, conditioning, and even dance classes. One minor issue is that they pinch my Achilles’ tendon after long wear, with no specific type of activity. I compensate for this by wearing thick socks. A bigger size gives me too much toe room, so I made do. Overall, I feel that the Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 would be a great investment for anyone who’s looking for a supportive, lightweight, cushioned shoe.
