Goals are what keep me motivated. I’ve decided to share my basic weekly goals that I set to help me continue moving forward in life, and ultimately make a better me! Next week I’ll update you on my progress and set new ones for the following week. Maybe I’ll get them all done…maybe I’ll need another week to accomplish one or two…we shall see!
1. Renew my CPR/AED certification.
Number one on my list because I can’t train without it!
2. Take another instructor’s class.
Sometimes we, group fitness instructors, hit “choreographer’s” block, as I’d like to call it. I’m going to drop in at least one other instructor’s class this week and see if I find a little inspiration.
3. Work on a new playlist.
Music is a big motivational element for many. I must admit that I haven’t made a new mix in a while! I will get right on it!
4. Practice yoga 5 times this week.
Although I stretch everyday, yoga helps my body feel relaxed and clears my mind. I think that even the busiest person can benefit from a Sun Salutation in the morning.
